This team meets at least one time per week formally to discuss problems on the care for the patients. Generally we meet however repeatedly per week informally to discuss the daily matter. So each of us keeps informed of the pace of matter of our patients.
Qualification
Our nurses have been well qualified. This qualification concerns not only the technical knowledge and skill, but also the social and human skills. Involvement, motivation, discretion and helpfulness are for all members of our team a necessity and an obvious requirement.
Our nurse are self-employed persons. This means that they do not a job ‘ between 8 hours and 5 hours ’. They remain involved with the patient, also outside their hours.
Our nurses follow trainings on a regular base. The practice organises trainings, but they also follow training organised outside. This is how they stay up to date with the last techniques and methods.
